Brightside Electrical LLC was established in Austin in March of 2018 as a one man operation and has been steadily growing since then.

Jonathan Gibson is 35 years old as of 2025 and the owner/master electrician on file for Brightside Electrical and has been in the trade for over a decade. He went through his apprenticeship program at IEC and in 2017 where he won 1st place at the Centex chapter wire-off, which he then was flown out to Arizona to compete nationally for the Greater Texas region, where he placed 9th out of 25 competitors. Jonathan has also been recognized for other things when he was working for other companies like “Foreman of the year” etc.
